Amadeus - The Chamber Choir was formed in January 2000. We are a group of 20 singers based in Formby in the North West of England and we have a wide-ranging repertoire from church music and madrigals to contemporary works and broadway songs. We sing for our own enjoyment but we are also available for all types of event. We regularly sing for charity events, weddings and church services. We have sung in Blackburn, Durham and Chester Cathedrals, Liverpool Town Hall and at the Liverpool Football Club ground at Anfield. Website

 


The Linsdale Singers is a choir of around 30 voices. It performs mostly unaccompanied music and also works accompanied by organ or chamber orchestra. The choir's reputation has spread far beyond the bounds of Leighton Buzzard and Linslade, and performances have been staged in many English cathedrals and minsters. The Linsdale Singers are available to sing at weddings in the Bedfordshire/North Buckinghamshire area. As well as hymns, you can choose items from a wide range of music (sacred and secular, popular and light, old and new) for performance during the signing of the register. The Lydian Singers is one of the leading chamber choirs in the North West of England. The Lydian Singers were founded in 1980. We have a wide repertoire of sacred and secular music and specialise in sacred music sung in liturgical settings and usually undertake at least three cathedral visits each year and are often available to sing at Weddings and Special Occasions. We can provide a Choir and, if required, an Organist and even Instrumental Music. Fees are subject to negotiation ( subject to what is actually needed), but are usually found to be surprisingly reasonable. Marchington Singers, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire A mixed voice choir, formed in 1984. We sing at Weddings, fundraising and corporate events, church festivals, dinners - and almost any event you would care to name! Singing as part of Music and Arts Festival in the Midlands, the choir has also appeared throughout Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire as well as travelling to Germany and the Algarve. Pinsuti A group of about 16 singers, formed in 1995; we perform 4 - 5 concerts each year in the Wharfedale - Airedale area.  We take our name from the little-known Victorian composer Ciro Pinsuti.Sacred and secular unaccompanied music forms the core of our performances, each of which are individually tailored to each venue and audience. Most members follow professional careers in such diverse areas as architecture, dentistry, translation and journalism but we enjoy singing together and hope our audiences will equally enjoy our choice of music, some of which is not so frequently heard.  Website

Quorum is a small a cappella choir specialising in singing renaissance sacred music in a liturgical context based in Milton Keynes. The choir is well known for the high quality of its singing, its flexibility, and ability to provide suitable music for a range of church services. The choir provides music for Weddings. The choir will lead the congregation in singing hymns selected by the couple, and sing a selection of unaccompanied choral pieces during the signing of the register. The Colla Voce Singers is a London based chamber choir formed of both male and female singers ranging from those in sixth form intending to become choral scholars, to those on postgraduate singing courses in the numerous music colleges in London. The Colla Voce Singers are always available to sing at weddings. All 16 singers are available to sing in venues in and around London as well as other venues throughout southern England. Smaller or larger groups can easily be arranged. The choir has an extensive repertoire and is able to provide music suitable for almost any service. New Sussex Singers is a chamber choir of some 16 voices giving concerts and recitals throughout Sussex and beyond. We are an experienced provider of wedding music for any type of venue from Hotel to Cathedral. Working closely with the bride and groom, we aim to find the right music to suit their tastes and what will work best in their chosen venue. We have our own excellent organist/accompanist but can also work with a church's own organist if that is the couple's wish. The Questors Choir, Ealing, London The Choir has a repertoire of traditional wedding hymns and anthems. Given approval of the Musical Director and Church Authorities, plus enough rehearsal time, we can also sing your own choice of pieces.  Website


Cappella Novocastriensis is a mixed-voice Newcastle choir of about 40 members.   We sing mainly liturgical music of all periods, from plainsong to new commissions.   We give concerts in King’s Hall, Newcastle and in country churches, a cappella or with chamber organ.   We have a diverse experience of weddings, in that we sing both in churches and secular venues.   The church ones might include motets for the signing of the register and (of course) hymns, and if appropriate, a nuptial mass (Byrd 4-part, for example).   The secular ones might include madrigals and poem settings by Parry, Finzi, Elgar etc  -  or any piece we are asked to sing!   We are very willing to adapt ourselves to a couple’s wishes, and have rehearsed newly composed works on occasion.
